Overview

Serves 4 • Prep 10 min • Cook 4–5 min (microwave). Use a 1.2 L microwave-safe bowl, lightly greased.

Ingredients

• 120 g self-raising flour • 100 g caster sugar • 30 g cocoa powder • 2 eggs • 100 ml milk • 60 g butter (melted)
• 1 tsp vanilla • Pinch of salt

Method

1. Whisk all ingredients smooth; scrape into the greased bowl.

2. Microwave 800 W 4–5 min until risen and just set. Rest 2 min; turn out or spoon straight.

Tips & Substitutions

Scatter chocolate chips on top before cooking. Serve with cream or custard.
